Four 4-H members – Sveinna Bjarnarson, Hailey Klassen, Laura Seward and Sigga Vigfusson – proudly represented 4-H Manitoba at Agribition in Regina this year, competing across a wide range of judging classes including water samples, seed identification, honey, Speckle Park bred heifers, alpacas, prospect steers, light horse, Charolais heifer calves, and Hereford bull calves. A special congratulations goes to Hailey, who earned the highest mark in the seed identification category, where members were challenged to correctly identify approximately 20 different seed crops. Members also placed very close to the overall top five once again this year. This strong showing reflects the dedication and knowledge of our members, and we are excited to continue building skills and confidence with the goal of seeing one or more of our members reach the top five at Agribition in 2026.
Special thanks to BUNGE for sponsoring our 2025 4-H Manitoba Judging Team!

This month, we are pleased to highlight one of our valuable major sponsors – Richardson Pioneer.
Richardson Pioneer is a dedicated supporter of 4-H Manitoba and for the third year in a row is a 2025/2026 Pledge Sponsor as well as a great supporter of Agri-Career Quest.
When asked about their continued support, Todd Moffat, Senior Director with Richardson Pioneer said this:
“At Richardson Pioneer, we started working with the Manitoba team in 2022. We look at 4-H and the mutual values it teaches it members. To mention but a few, teamwork, and a collaborative spirit to understand our work. A strong work ethic in a public facing environment. We look at the values and see a lot of alignment with what we look for in our people. Those values are a solid foundation for which oneself can head out into the world with some core characteristics in which to be successful.”
We are so thankful to Todd and Richardson Pioneer for believing in 4-H Manitoba and the continued development of Manitoba youth.
Support Richardson Pioneer where you can….because they support us.
