Communication is a cornerstone of the 4‑H Manitoba experience. Through public speaking and visual presentations, members build lifelong skills – confidence, critical thinking, and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback. These opportunities allow members to share topics they care about while developing essential communication abilities that will benefit them far beyond their 4‑H years.
The 4‑H Manitoba Provincial Communications Extravaganza represents the culmination of months of preparation and achievement. Members advance from their club communication events through zone and area levels to earn a spot on the provincial stage. This event showcases the dedication and talent of 4‑H members of all ages—from Cloverbuds to Adult Members—ranging from 6 to 25 years old.
We are excited to welcome members, volunteers, families, and the public to the 2026 Provincial Communications Extravaganza on April 18, 2026, at the Victoria Inn Hotel & Conference Centre in Brandon. Competitors will present in a variety of categories, including prepared speeches as well as one‑ and two‑person visual presentations.
The 2026 Provincial Communications categories will take place in the morning and afternoon.
This event is a testament to the power of communication, confidence, and the lifelong skills gained through 4-H. All who attended were inspired by the next generation of strong, articulate leaders!
