Canad Inns Destination Centre Fort Garry, Winnipeg, MB
4-H Manitoba Provincial Communications is the ultimate event for 4-H speeches in our province and is one of 4-H Manitoba’s most recognized member events, having been part of the 4-H experience for 69 years. Members whom attend this event have won multiple speech competitions in the 4-H year to earn their place at this competition. The audience has the chance to listen to some of the best speakers & presenters in the province in each age category.
Intermediate Member Overnight Camp
May 6 & 7, 2017
Camp Manitou, Headingly, MB
Members aged 12 – 14, as of January 1st of the current 4-H year, will meet at Camp Manitou for an overnight 4-H camp put on by the Manitoba 4-H Council. This year they will take part in a variety of activities related to Environment and Healthy Living. The highlights include bannock making, archery, rock climbing and zip-lining!
There is a limit of 50 members at this event. Registration will open January 18th, 2017, and close April 3, 2017. Registrations are accepted in order of arrival at the Manitoba 4-H Council office. Members will not be considered registered unless the registration form is filled in accurately and payment has been made. Members must also meet the age requirements and their clubs must have paid their enrollment fees to the Manitoba 4-H Council.

Travel Opportunity for Intermediate 4-H Member Event Partcipants!
Two delegates will be chosen either from interviews at the Intermediate Event, or by conference
call interviews, to attend the 2017 AIM (Aspiring Intermediate Members) event at the Alberta 4-H
Centre, August 2017. If you have parental permission to travel to Alberta and are interested in
being interviewed for the opportunity, please indicate this by email to email@example.com (and
complete the travel applicaton in the usual way).
Senior or Adult Member Chaperones Required for 4-H Intermediate Overnight Event
Do you have an older brother or sister who would be interested in partcipating as a senior or
adult member chaperone at the 4-H Intermediate Overnight event? If so, please ask them to send
their name, age, gender, number of years in 4-H, previous related experience and why they would
like to chaperone this event to firstname.lastname@example.org by February 1st, 2017.
