Japan York-Benimaru Foundation and 4-H Manitoba Homestay Program

In July 2019, ten 4-H Manitoba members and two chaperones traveled to Japan for two weeks.  This travel opportunity is open only to 4-H families who have hosted a Japanese student through our program.  If you would like a chance to travel in the future, consider hosting this summer from July 31 – August 14. Careers on the Grow

Careers on the Grow is a career exploration program that encourages 4-H Canada members (ages 18-25) to engage in hands-on work placements.

Find Your Wings

This is the seventh year that 4-H Canada and their generous partner TC Energy will deliver this fun and engaging campaign to clubs across Canada. The focus for Find Your 4-H Wings this year is on bird conservation, where 4-Hers will learn about threatened bird species in Canada and participate in activities to protect them and their habitats.  Registration closes January 26, 2020.

Club to Club Exchange

This program provides groups of 10 delegates (ages 12-17) and their chaperones an opportunity to learn first-hand about a different part of Canada, while gaining lasting experiences and friendships.  During July and August, groups stay with host families and experience a unique immersion of culture, language and history.

The 4-H Canada Science Fair!

What interests you? Is there something you would love to test or invent? Do you have a question you could examine that is related to your passion? Whatever it is – the sky is the limit for your Science Fair project.

4-H Events & Travel Chaperones

Being a chaperone for a 4-H event or trip can be a rewarding opportunity and a unique way to learn more about   4-H programming. The 4-H Manitoba Event Committees are often looking to recruit new committee members.

4-H Manitoba currently hosts the following member events:

  • 4-H Manitoba Senior Member Event
  • 4-H Manitoba Intermediate Member Overnight Camp
