4-H Connecting Canadians Fund

4-H Canada will be participating in Canada 150 as one of the organizations leading a pan-Canadian signature project. Please click here to read the Press Release, for more information.4-H’ers, you can host a Canada 150 celebration in your community by applying for the 4-H Connecting Canadians Fund, offered to registered 4-H clubs, districts, regions and provinces across Canada.  Please complete your application online at http://apply.4-h-canada.ca. Applications will open on December 1, 2016, at 2p.m. Eastern Time and must be received online by 4-H Canada no later than midnight Eastern Time on March 1, 2017.  Please click here for more information.

Careers on the Grow

Design Rocky with a Health & Fitness Theme

Are you interested in adapting Rocky to fit the Environment & Healthy Living theme? Submit your Rocky design/poster to the 4-H Manitoba Intermediate Member Overnight Camp event committee by emailing it to kpaul@4h.mb.ca. If your design is chosen it will be used to advertise this year’s event. Submit before January 9th, 2017. Use the attached photo of Rocky as a basis for your design/poster.

Find Your Wings

This is the third year that 4-H Canada and our generous partner TransCanada will deliver this fun and engaging campaign to clubs across Canada.  This year, the focus is on bat habitat and conservation. Club to Club Exchange

Club to Club Exchanges are all about making connections with other 4-H’ers from across the country – bringing clubs together to learn more about each other, their communities, provinces, Canada and the 4-H movement. Journey 2050

4-H Canada and the Manitoba 4-H Council are encouraging clubs across the province to participate in the Journey 2050 game.

If you would like to run a contest related to the game at your club or area meeting, you may contact Karleigh Paul at the Manitoba 4-H Council office for access to free prizes that Agrium & 4-H Canada are offering to groups that participate. It’s Never too Early to Start Thinking Ahead to September 2016 and the 2nd Annual 4-H Science Fair!

What interests you? Is there something you would love to test or invent? Do you have a question you could examine that is related to your passion? Whatever it is – the sky is the limit for your Science Fair project.

4-H Events & Travel Chaperones

Being a chaperone for a 4-H event or trip can be a rewarding opportunity and a unique way to learn more about 4-H programming. The 4-H Manitoba Event Committees are often looking to recruit new committee members.

  • 4-H Manitoba Intermediate Member Overnight Camp
