4-H Canada Citizenship Congress

May 11-16, 2026 – Ottawa
Ten Manitobans, aged 15-21, as of the date of travel (members aged 15 must also be in a minimum of Grade 10), will participate as part of 100 Canadian delegates at this conference.

Registration fee: $317.50 (actual cost $635 – 50% subsidy from M4HC)

Developed in 1972 to unite 4-H members from across the country, this national annual gathering is an opportunity for youth to strengthen their citizenship skills, connections, and identity. Through hands-on learning experiences, delegates engage with each other, parliamentarians, Knowledge Keepers, and business leaders, all set against the backdrop of the nation’s capital.

In alignment with the mission of all 4-H Canada youth programs, the central aim of the Citizenship Congress is to enable delegates to put into practice the skills and knowledge they acquire, transforming them into responsible, caring, contributing members and citizens within their local communities.

Conference Highlights include:

  • a tour of Parliament Hill, networking and connecting with parliamentarians, and so much more!
