Youth Safety at 4-H in Canada Training Sessions

Four Youth Safety training sessions have been scheduled for November and December.  The sessions will be held via Zoom on Thursday, November 24, at 7 p.m.; Wednesday, November 30, at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, December 6, at 7 p.m.; and Thursday, December 8, at 7 p.m.  Please watch for an email from your Club Support Coordinator which will contain Zoom links.

Winnipeg Ice Hockey Ticket Offer for 4-Hers

The Winnipeg ICE are once again excited to partner with 4-H Manitoba on providing youth and family experiences.

As a partner of the Winnipeg ICE, you will be able to purchase tickets at the group pricing for the games on November 19 and January 21.

4-H Manitoba Virtual Series Return

The very popular Virtual Food Series will begin on Thursday, January 5 and run for 10 weeks.  Please enroll for this series by Friday, November 18.

We are also offering Smart Sitter again, running January 9 to February 13, and Ice Fishing running January 11 to February 8.  Please enroll for these two series before Wednesday, November 30.

Please enroll through the 4-H Manitoba database https://www.4hmanitoba.ca/.  You must be enrolled in an active 4-H Manitoba club or the Keystone 4-H Virtual Club and your $80.00 fee must be paid before you can take part in any of the virtual series.

4-H Manitoba Area Reorganization Meetings 2022-23 Year

Head Leaders are reminded to bring their binders to Reorg meetings.  To be environmentally friendly, M4HC will be updating some of the sections instead of replacing the entire binder.  Leaders of new 4-H clubs will receive binders containing all the sections.  Southwest Area Council’s Boissevain Zone Reorganization meeting is scheduled for Monday, September 12 in Boissevain, while the Brandon Zone Reorg is set for Tuesday, September 13 in Brandon.  South Interlake AC’s Reorg meeting will take place on Tuesday, September 13 in Stonewall and South Parkland Area Council will hold its Reorganization on Thursday, September 15 in Oakburn.  Central Plains AC’s Reorg meeting will be held on Monday, September 19 in MacGregor while Southwest AC’s Virden/Melita Zones Reorg meeting will take place on Tuesday, September 20 in Pipestone.  For more information, contact your Club Support Coordinator.

4-H Manitoba Provincial Conference – Registration September 1 – 23

This year our event will be held October 15 & 16 at the Keystone Centre in Brandon.  Registration takes place on the 4-H Manitoba database.  (Registration cost has increased due to venue change and inflation).  There will be 60 spots available so be sure to register early to secure your spot.  Please visit our events page or contact Linda at lmcrae-walker@4h.mb.ca for more information.
