Nutrien Ag Solutions Continues to be a Major Supporter of 4-H Manitoba
When asked to speak to the reason Nutrien continues to be a major supporter of 4-H Manitoba, Nutrien said this:

With the organization’s focus on providing youth education tailored to developing leadership skills, fostering community responsibility, and offering hands-on learning experiences, 4-H aligns closely with our team’s commitment to connecting youth to industry-relevant learning and career pathways.
Through our most recent partnership with 4-H Manitoba, Nutrien supported the 4-H Senior Members’ Event. Kyle Bates, West Manitoba Area Manager for Nutrien, and Sara Cockrill, General Manager for Nutrien’s Manitoba Division, had the opportunity to present to the Senior Members about career journeys in agriculture and the many professional paths that are available within this industry. We are grateful for 4-H and the platform they’ve created to connect with the next generation of agriculture leaders.”

The Manitoba 4-H Council is excited to once again recruit 4-H families for the 2026 Japan Homestay Program! This summer, families will have the opportunity to welcome one of 20 Japanese students (ages 16–18) and two teachers into their homes from July 31 to August 14, 2026.
Hosting is a rewarding experience that doesn’t require major changes to your family’s routine or significant expense. The goal is simple: give students a chance to experience everyday life in Manitoba and make them feel like part of your family. Along the way, you’ll enjoy cultural exchange and the chance to build lifelong friendships that can span continents.
If you’re interested in hosting, please complete the application and return it as soon as possible.
Important: All individuals 18 years and older living in the host family home during the stay must complete Manitoba 4-H Council’s Youth Protection Program (YPP) screening.

Calling all 4-H members ages 12–14 as of Jan. 1! Join us for a fun-filled weekend of learning and adventure at the Intermediate Members’ Event. Highlights include tubing at Asessippi Ski Hill, leadership and team-building activities, career tips, scholarship advice, and plenty of games and good times!
