4-H Manitoba – YBF Japan Homestay Program

Manitoba Ag Offers Seminar on Animal Health and Biosecurity in March

Manitoba Agriculture will hold a short seminar on the basics of animal health and biosecurity this month.  This free event is the first in a small holder seminar series which hopes to provide animal owners with a greater understanding of raising healthy pigs and poultry.  It will cover the key aspects of preventing disease transmission and some of the more commonly encountered conditions in small-scale settings.  For more details, please read Small Holder Health Agenda.

B.C. Entrepreneur Named 4-H Canada’s Distinguished Alumni Award Recipient

Ken Keis, president and CEO of Consulting Resource Group, was recognized by 4-H Canada for his dedication to working with people to build confidence, and motivate individuals to make a positive impact in the world around them.  Keis, who got his start in 4-H in the Matsqui 4-H Holstein and Tractor Clubs, received the honour at the February 28 4-H Canada Leadership Awards virtual ceremony.  Please read 4-H Canada’s 2022 Distinguished Alumni Award Recipient news release for more information.
