Bruce D. Campbell Farm and Food Discovery Centre, located 15 minutes south of Winnipeg on Highway 75, will host Discover the Farm on Sunday, September 18 from 10 a.m. till 2 p.m. The free event will give visitors an opportunity to meet local farmers and see farm animals, including broiler chickens, dairy cows, laying hens as well as pigs. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about the connection between where your food comes from the farmers who produce it. There will also be free food for the first 500 attendees.

Manitoba 4-H Council is holding Zoom sessions with its Japanese exchange partners, the York-Benimaru Foundation and their students who may travel to Manitoba in 2023. If you would like to learn about Japanese culture or maybe would like to be a host family next summer, one or more of these Zoom sessions may be of interest to you.
