4-H Alberta has invited 4-H Manitoba to send two Intermediate Members to their Aspiring Intermediate Members (AIM) program from August 16th – 20th, 2020.  Members will take part in daily activities along side members from 4-H Alberta.  If you are 12 years old as of January 1, 2020 and not older than 14 years at August 16th you are eligible to apply.  Please click here to read more information about the camp and click here for the application form.

4-H Canada Brand Guidelines

It is very important for all 4-H Manitoba clubs to follow the 4-H Canada Guidelines.  When clubs use the same logo format it fosters a consistent, cohesive brand.  If you are producing banners, flyers, T-shirts etc., Manitoba 4-H Council asks that you please send us your proofs before you OK the order with your supplier.  The Brand Guidelines are attached here for your use.

Did you know the 4-H wordmark (4-H) is protected under the official Trademarks Act.  Correct usage is as follows:  a number ‘4’ followed by a clearly defined dash (-), followed by a capital ‘H’.

Do not, under any circumstance, remove or otherwise alter the dash (-).

4-H Member from Harding Launches Petition for Criminal Code change

Chrystina Caldwell from the Kenton 4-H Club is seeking to change the Criminal Code and has started a petition to the federal Justice Department through the House of Commons to lobby for the change.  She has been interviewed by many local TV and radio stations and on February 28, 2020 she was interviewed live on CTV National News.  Very exciting to have one of our 4-H members showing such determination.  Links to her interviews are below:
