March 31, 2020 is 4-H Day at the Winter Fair and we are requesting your support. Manitoba 4-H Council would like to donate socks to the Bear Clan and Women’s Shelter. On 4-H Day, we will ask our members/leaders to write a nice message on a small card and attach it to a pair of socks which will then be shared with those who need them. We are hoping you are willing to donate adult and youth socks to M4HC to use for this Community Initiative. You can bring them to your Area Communications events or drop them off at our office before March 24th, 2020. If you are coming to 4-H Day, please consider bringing along non-perishable food items, which we will donate to Father’s Pantry Inc. for its 11th annual Good Friday Meal in the Park.
We require two more Senior or Adult Member Ambassadors for the Intermediate Members’ Camp taking place at Camp Wannakumbac on May 29-31, 2020. Your role during the weekend is to help run activities and encourage member involvement in all activities as well as with each other. Our Intermediate Members will benefit greatly by your peer mentorship and leadership during this weekend.
