38 Years of Friendship: Join Our Summer York-Benimaru Foundation Homestay Program – Aug 1-15, 2025

This year marks the 38th anniversary of our incredible homestay program, and we’re thrilled to continue this meaningful tradition! We’re looking for families willing to host Japanese students, both male and female, as well as one teacher/chaperone.

Hosting one of our guests is a chance to forge lifelong friendships and share your family’s unique traditions while learning about Japanese culture firsthand. The age of the 4-H members in your household does not matter—all that’s needed is a warm and welcoming spirit!

If you’re interested in being a part of this long-standing tradition or would like more information, please reach out to Linda at lmcrae-walker@4h.mb.ca or visit our website.

Thank you for considering opening your hearts and homes to this amazing program!

4-H Manitoba Out-N-About

On Saturday, March 15, four of our amazing University of Manitoba Future Leaders Club members (Halee Piasta, Jen Brunen, Austyn Dawydiuk and Evan Whetter) were on hand at Discover Agriculture in the City at the Outlet Collection Mall in Winnipeg. There was great representation from different areas of Agriculture at the event, and it was amazing to be there to help educate and create interest in Ag and 4-H with the public. We wouldn’t have been able to be at this event without the volunteer efforts of those Future Leaders Club members, and we sincerely thank them. We are looking forward to next year’s event as we believe it is very important to represent and promote 4-H Manitoba when these opportunities present themselves.
