October 13–20 is SeCan’s Grow a Leader Week!
This annual initiative is all about helping grow the next generation of leaders in agriculture. During Grow a Leader Week, when producers purchase SeCan soybean seed through participating local suppliers, a portion of the proceeds directly supports 4-H Manitoba Clubs, Area Councils, and provincial programs.
These funds help provide 4-H members across the province with opportunities to build confidence, strengthen leadership skills, and explore future careers in agriculture — ensuring Manitoba’s youth are ready to lead our industry forward.
A big thank-you to SeCan for their continued partnership and investment in 4-H youth development. Together, we’re growing strong roots for the future of Canadian agriculture. 💚

You’ll notice a fresh new look for our newsletter, now called Clover Connections. Each month, we’ll bring you updates on upcoming events, helpful resources, and highlights from across our 4-H family. Our Provincial Events calendar has shifted slightly, so be sure to keep an eye on the Clover Connections and visit www.4h.mb.ca for registration details and deadlines.
We are grateful to our members and leaders for making 4-H part of your year. Membership fees are now $90/member, but with that comes access to incredible learning experiences. We encourage you to dive into one — or more — projects and discover all that 4-H has to offer.

With a rich history of supporting farmers, communities, and 4-H, Bunge shared the following update:
“We were pleased to announce the completion of the Bunge and Viterra combination, which officially closed on July 2. The new combined Bunge has been helping farmers feed the world for over 200 years. We are passionate about agriculture and the communities who support this great industry.
We are proud to work with organizations such as 4-H Manitoba to help students across the province learn about, connect to and celebrate agriculture in their communities.
Bunge is a proud major sponsor of the annual 4-H Manitoba Provincial Rally and the title sponsor of the 4-H Manitoba Provincial Judging Team.”
We are grateful for Bunge’s continued support of our members and programs, helping us provide meaningful opportunities for youth to learn, grow, and thrive through 4-H.

In conjunction with our Provincial Conference, we’re excited to host the brand-new 4-H Manitoba Mix ’n Mingle: FUNdraising Social on Friday, November 7 at The Backyard on Aberdeen in Brandon! This Manitoba-style social is a fundraiser in support of 4-H Manitoba and a chance to connect with alumni, leaders, and all believers in 4-H. Come celebrate our shared 4-H spirit with entertainment, beverages, a late lunch, and a silent auction. 🌱
