4-H Manitoba – YBF Japan Homestay Program

Exciting news received that there will be 10 boys and 10 girls arriving from Japan to stay for 2 weeks with 4-H Manitoba Host Families from August 3-17, 2018. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to make a new friend from across the globe? Here’s your chance for just 2 short weeks to show your new friend what life is like in Manitoba, Canada, learn some Japanese words and make a lifelong friend. 4-H Highway Clean-up Campaign

Manitoba Infrastructure has approved the highway clean-up day to be May 26th with the rain date being June 2nd.  Application packages have been sent to all club Head Leaders.  Deadline to register with Manitoba 4-H Council is Friday, April 6, 2018.

First Aid Training, Portage La Prairie – April 28, 2018

Do you have a screened volunteer in your club with first aid training?  We are offering a one-day first aid course at the Portage Ex Admin Building on Island Park, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Priority will be given to 4-H clubs that do not currently have a leader with this training. A minimum of 10 leaders is required for this training to run.  Please click here for registration form.

First Aid Kit Fundraising Opportunity for Clubs – Sign up by April 14

Manitoba 4-H Council is offering your club the opportunity to receive profits from the sale of first aid kits.  There are 11 unique first aid kits and your club would receive $4 to $15 on every kit sold.  All the first aid kits are Health Canada approved.  Please see the attached for more information.  If you would like to take part in the Fundraiser, please contact Linda lmcrae-walker@4h.mb.ca or 204-726-6136.
