Senior/Adult 4-H members are invited to apply for these two exciting travel opportunities!  Up to 10 members will participate in the Global 4-H Network Summit, an international event to be held in Ottawa, July 11-14, 2017 and 10 more will travel to Japan from July 9-24, 2017 through the Japan Homestay Program.  Download eligibility criteria, full details and application form here.  Don’t delay, apply today!!

Manitoba 4-H Council Staff Announcement

Manitoba 4-H Council is pleased to announce that Lynn Silver and Shannon Carvey have joined our staff team as the new Club Support Coordinators.  Lynn and Shannon will be attending Area meetings and also reaching out to Head Leaders in the coming weeks in order to introduce themselves to their clients.

Lynn will work out of Winnipeg and is the main point of contact for Eastman, North & South Interlake, Red River and Central Plains Areas, including all clubs within.  Lynn can be reached by e-mail at lsilver@4h.mb.ca and by phone or text at 204-573-4308.

Notice of Annual General Meeting – November 19, 2016

The Manitoba 4-H Council Board of Directors gives notice that the 2016 Annual General Meeting will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Manitoba Ag. Extension Centre, 1129 Queens Ave., Brandon, Manitoba, for the following purposes:

  • To receive and consider the annual report
  • To receive and consider the financial statements
  • To approve the minutes of the 2015 Annual General Meeting

All members/leaders are invited to attend the 2016 AGM and meet the Board of Directors and staff.  If you are able to attend on November 19th, please call the office at 204-726-6136.

(Please note: parking is on the street or in the paid parking lot, only).
