COVID-19 Update – November 26, 2021

New health restrictions are in effect as of November 13, 2021 and the province remains in the Orange (Restricted) level on the pandemic emergency response system.  Until further notice, everyone who participates/attends in-person 4-H Manitoba activities (indoor/outdoor), who is eligible to be vaccinated, 12 years and older, must be fully vaccinated or where the venue allows, provide a negative COVID-19 test result within the previous 72 hours.  Test costs at participants’ own expense.  Those who turn 12 during the 2021-22 year will have either three months from December 1 (for those with birthdays from September 1-November 30) or from the date of their birthday (December 1 onwards) to become fully vaccinated.  During this grace period, they will still be able to participate in in-person    4-H activities.  Unvaccinated people are still able to participate virtually, either with their club or through M4HC virtual programming.  Click here to read current Manitoba Public Health Order.  Please call your Club Support Coordinator for more information.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and vaccination requirements, this year’s communication events may still look a little different.  The decision has been made to allow clubs, Zones and Areas to hold their Communications event in person or virtually or as a combination of both.  The Provincial Communications Extravaganza will be a combination of both in-person and virtual.  Please click here for Communications plan for clubs, Zones, Areas and Provincials.  Click here for Tips for Recording Your Speech or Visual Presentation.
