COVID-19 Update – May 10, 2021

New health restrictions are in effect as of Sunday, May 9, 2021 and the province remains in the Red (Critical) level on the pandemic emergency response system.  The new restrictions will remain in effect until 12:01 a.m. on May 30, 2021.  All 4-H in-person activities are suspended until further notice with the exception of Beef Sales.  Please call your Club Support Coordinator for more information.  Please click here to read the current Manitoba Public Health Order.

Commit to Kids and Youth Safety at 4-H in Canada Training

Reminder that all Leaders must complete this training.  Please click here for information on how to access 4-H Learns, where you take the Commit to Kids training.  NOTE: You only need to take the full training once.

Additional dates for Youth Safety at 4-H in Canada training have been scheduled in May.  Sessions will be held via Zoom on May 12 at 7 p.m., May 15 at 1 p.m., May 17 at 12 p.m., May 20 at 7 p.m. and May 27 at 7 p.m.  An email with Zoom links for the May sessions was sent to all Leaders earlier this month.

Senior Member Event – (SME) – October 16, 2021

4-H Manitoba is looking for leaders to join the SME committee.  All committee meetings will be by Zoom.  The committee will work with the Program Coordinator to

  • develop inclusive, educational and fun programming for the event
  • plan, organize, deliver and evaluate the event
  • work within the event budget approved by M4HC

Adult committee members also serve as chaperones for the event.
