Exciting news received that there will be 10 boys and 10 girls arriving from Japan to stay for 2 weeks with 4-H Manitoba Host Families from August 3-17, 2018. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to make a new friend from across the globe? Here’s your chance for just 2 short weeks to show your new friend what life is like in Manitoba, Canada, learn some Japanese words and make a lifelong friend. Manitoba Infrastructure has approved the highway clean-up day to be May 26th with the rain date being June 2nd. Application packages have been sent to all club Head Leaders. Deadline to register with Manitoba 4-H Council is Friday, April 6, 2018.
Do you have a screened volunteer in your club with first aid training? We are offering a one-day first aid course at the Portage Ex Admin Building on Island Park, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Priority will be given to 4-H clubs that do not currently have a leader with this training.
