4-H Manitoba clubs that are interested in taking part in the ParticipACTION Community Better Challenge can apply for micro-grants of $1,000 each to help cover the cost of hosting a physical activity event in their communities between June 1 and June 21, 2020. Registration is now open for community groups, including 4-H Manitoba clubs, that want to organize a cleanup project for Pitch-In Week, a joint initiative of PITCH-IN Canada and Tim Hortons. To register online, visit www.pitch-in.ca. After registering, PITCH-IN will send participants clear and yellow bags to aid in sorting and recycling items collected in their communities.
Historica Canada is seeking participants for its Encounters with Canada program. EWC offers 27 programmed weeks, and each week brings 150 participants, aged 14-17, from across Canada to Ottawa to explore leadership and career opportunities. For more information, click here and here.
