National Agriculture Day is February 16th, 2017, and we would like to feature our 4-H farmers and agriculture enthusiasts. Send us a photo of you and your favorite thing about your farm/agriculture surroundings, so we can compile this imagery to show off our Manitoba 4-Hers and our love for agriculture! Do you have a favorite farm animal or tractor? Send us your photo/video clip with it so we can feature our farms and farm faces for National Ag. Day! Please submit your imagery before January 31, 2017 to firstname.lastname@example.org and include your club name and 4-H Area Council.
Watch for the January Banner which contains full details of, and application criteria for, the 19 4-H scholarships available this year or download the information here.

We’re looking for a couple of new committee members who are willing to take on a two-year term. The Manitoba 4-H Council understands that our volunteers are busy with many other things in their lives, that’s why we want to remind potential committee members that there’s a lot of support from the office staff when it comes to planning these events. It’s a great opportunity to expand your knowledge about 4-H and to build new skills. If you are interested, please contact Karleigh Paul email@example.com or 204-726-6136.
In 2017, 4-H will be a part of Canada’s big year – Canada 150! Together, we will engage youth and connect communities, by bringing Canadians together from coast to coast, to participate in unifying events, share experiences and learn about why there is no greater time than now for 4-H in Canada.
4-H’ers, you can host a Canada 150 celebration in your community by applying for the 4-H Connecting Canadians Fund, offered to registered 4-H clubs, areas and provinces across Canada. Please click here for more information. Go to 4-H Connecting Canadians Fund to apply.
