COVID-19 Update – February 18, 2022

Effective March 1, 2022 Manitoba 4-H Council Inc. has voted to rescind the current COVID-19 policy that was put in place October 2021/amended November 2021.

Beginning March 1, keeping in line with the latest public health announcement, there will no longer be a vaccination/negative test requirement to attend in-person 4-H Manitoba activities.  4-H Manitoba members, leaders, volunteers and staff will continue to follow current public health guidelines as directed by the Government of Manitoba.

WAIVERS: The 4-H Canada COVID-19 waiver form IS still required at this time.  The 4-H Canada Attestation form WILL NOT be required.

COVID-19 Update – November 26, 2021

New health restrictions are in effect as of November 13, 2021 and the province remains in the Orange (Restricted) level on the pandemic emergency response system.  Until further notice, everyone who participates/attends in-person 4-H Manitoba activities (indoor/outdoor), who is eligible to be vaccinated, 12 years and older, must be fully vaccinated or where the venue allows, provide a negative COVID-19 test result within the previous 72 hours.  Test costs at participants’ own expense.  Those who turn 12 during the 2021-22 year will have either three months from December 1 (for those with birthdays from September 1-November 30) or from the date of their birthday (December 1 onwards) to become fully vaccinated.  During this grace period, they will still be able to participate in in-person    4-H activities.  Unvaccinated people are still able to participate virtually, either with their club or through M4HC virtual programming.  Click here to read current Manitoba Public Health Order.  Please call your Club Support Coordinator for more information.

COVID-19 Reminder – October 20, 2021

New health restrictions are in effect as of Tuesday, October 5, 2021 and the province has moved into the Orange (Restricted) level on the pandemic emergency response system.  At a special M4HC Board Meeting on October 4, by unanimous vote, the Directors decided that, effective immediately and until further notice, everyone who participates/attends in-person 4-H Manitoba activities (indoor/outdoor), who is eligible to be vaccinated, 12 years and older, must be fully vaccinated.  Unvaccinated people are still able to participate virtually, either with their club or through M4HC virtual programming.  Click here to read current Manitoba Public Health Order.  Please call your Club Support Coordinator for more information.

COVID-19 Update – September 21, 2021

New health restrictions are in effect as of Friday, September 3, 2021 and the province remains in the Yellow (Caution) level on the pandemic emergency response system.  4-H Manitoba is following provincial health guidelines.  A gathering may take place at an outdoor location if the number of persons at the gathering does not exceed the lesser of 50% of the capacity of the location of the gathering or 150 persons, whichever is greater.  Gatherings at indoor facilities must adhere to specific facility regulations.  Please click here to read current Manitoba Public Health Order.  Please contact your Club Support Coordinator for more information.
