Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and vaccination requirements, this year’s communication events may still look a little different. The decision has been made to allow clubs, Zones and Areas to hold their Communications event in person or virtually or as a combination of both. The Provincial Communications Extravaganza will be a combination of both in-person and virtual. Please click here for Communications plan for clubs, Zones, Areas and Provincials. With the changes to our Communications events this year, the Provincial Communications Committee wants to help our members succeed with their speeches and presentations. An infographic with Tips for Recording Your Speech or Visual Presentation has been developed. Please click here to access the infographic. If you have any questions about your recordings, please contact your Head Leader or Linda McRae-Walker at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This fast paced “FUN” workshop for members, leaders & parents focuses on communicating, leadership & confidence building – all through the 4-H Communications Program. It includes lots of activities and discussion – PLUS how to actually write and present a speech or presentation.
Walk away with confidence, making it easier to make good decisions and become a leader – rather than a follower. Learn how to speak up in lots of different situations – not just in your 4-H speech but in our everyday lives too! Talk the Talk and Walk the Walk!
This workshop is FREE to 4-H clubs and facilitated by Ken Essex and Pat Bartram – phone 204-793-1336 or email email@example.com for more information.
