As part of a Truth and Reconciliation initiative, the M4HC Board of Directors is taking part in a KAIROS Blanket Exercise and invites 4-H Leaders and 4-H family members to join this virtual workshop with them. Approximately 20 places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, however it may be possible to arrange further sessions if there is sufficient interest. To sign up, email Leslie Bryde at lbryde@4h.mb.ca by Friday, September 10, 2021. Developed in collaboration with Indigenous Elders, Knowledge Keepers and educators, the KAIROS Blanket Exercise (KBE) is an interactive and experiential teaching tool that explores the historic and contemporary relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in the land we now know as Canada.
