The province will provide $750,000 to Futurpreneur to support a three-year youth economic recovery project to combat the effects of COVID-19. The project will help young entrepreneurs launch and sustain successful businesses by providing them with access to financing, hands-on support from Futurpreneur business experts, up to two years of mentorship from one of Futurpreneur’s volunteer mentors, as well as tailored programs and specialized resources designed to help small businesses grow. The Sexuality Education Resource Centre in Brandon is offering a free Zoom session featuring comprehensive sexual and reproductive health for home schooling and remote learning youth between the ages of 12 and 18 on Thursday, November 26. 4-H has an open-door policy for reporting concerns of misconduct, harassment or abuse and takes any claims very seriously. A confidential Incident Report may be made by a youth member, leader, staff, parent, participant, or member of the public using the link above. Reports will be delivered directly to the provincial organization.
