The 4-H Manitoba Canada 150 Art Challenge has concluded. Between June and October, M4HC staff coordinated Regional Competitions in Brandon, Lundar, Boissevain, Dauphin, Portage la Prairie, Dugald, Hamiota, Winkler, The Pas and Roland. Thirty-four clubs submitted canvases for a total of 37 entries.

Twenty canvases advanced from the Regional Competitions to the Provincial Finals. Those clubs included: Roseland South Brandon 4-H Club, Poplar Hill 4-H Club, Lundar 4-H Beef Club, Lundar Happy Hands 4-H Club, Boissevain Home and Hobby 4-H Club, Dand Belles et Beaux 4-H Club, Laurier Lucky Charms 4-H Club, Mountainview 4-H Club, Gladstone Handiworkers 4-H Club, Gainsborough Combined 4-H Club, Minerva 4-H Club, Anola Northern Lights 4-H Club (Bison Canvas), Hamiota 4-H Fun Club, Oak Lake Busy Buddies 4-H Club, Woodmore Combined 4-H Club, Morden Achievers 4-H Club, The Pas Helping Hands 4 H Club, Dauphin Plains 4-H Club, Alexander 4-H Club and Oakburn 4-H Achievers.

The judges at the Provincial Finals included: Ralph Eichler, Minister of Agriculture; Dan Mazier, President of Keystone Agricultural Producers; Ron Kristjansson, General Manager of the Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba; and Rick Chrest, Mayor of the City of Brandon.
